Since the demise of Newage over 17 years ago, Dana axles are fitted to the majority of Thwaites, Terex, Mecalac, Wacker Neuson and JCB site dumpers. Unlike the Newage axles, Dana axles are continually evolving and to date there are 96 different types of Dana axle that are fitted to the Thwaites, Terex, Mecalac, Wacker Neuson and JCB dumpers, the most popular being Dana 110/51, Dana 110/60, Dana 112/120, Dana 112/64 and Dana 112/258.
Dana are a $10.2 billion turnover company, 30% of that coming from the off-highway sector and they more or less dominate the site dumper sector here in the UK and Europe and PES stock most of the commonly used Dana parts fitted to Thwaites, Terex, Mecalac, Wacker Neuson and JCB dumpers.
