Description
Cable general fits Thwaites 1.5 to 2ton Thwaites dumper when fitted with either a 3TNE82A-EWA or 3TNV82A-EWA Yanmar engine. Cable goes from the over centre handbrake lever to the newage 215 front axle. Cable is approximately 3486mm long with a fixed clevis to the handbrake lever and a 5/16 bsf threaded bar on the axle end, the outer sleeve is approximately 3220mm long from the tip of the thread one end which has two adjuster nuts to the tip of 13mm metal sleeve the other end.
The handbrake cable links the handbrake lever to the parking brake to stop the vehicle from rolling away. Frayed or broken cables are dangerous and must be replaced
