Description
Cable general fits Thwaites 1.5 – 2.3 tonne hydrostatic dumper with either Yanmar 3TNE88-EWA or 3TNV88-XWA engine, when fitted with a lockable over-centre handbrake lever and cable goes to Newage rear axle brake arms. Cable is approximately 1400mm long with a fixed clevis to the handbrake lever and a 5/16bsf threaded bar to the axle handbrake arms; the outer sleeve is approximately 1130mm long from the tip of the thread with two adjuster nuts to the tip of 13mm metal sleeve.
The handbrake cable links the handbrake lever to the parking brake to stop the vehicle from rolling away. Frayed or broken cables are dangerous and must be replaced
