Description
Cable general fits Thwaites 5-7 ton dumper 2004-2006 when fitted with a lockable over-centre handbrake lever and cable goes to rear axle brake arms. Cable is approximately 1510mm long with a fixed clevis to the handbrake lever and an 5/16bsf threaded bar to the axle handbrake arms; the outer sleeve is approximately 1120mm long from the tip of the thread with two adjuster nuts to the tip of 12.5mm metal sleeve.
The handbrake cable links the handbrake lever to the parking brake to stop the vehicle from rolling away. Frayed or broken cables are dangerous and must be replaced
