Description
Cable general fits Thwaites 1.5 to 3ton Thwaites dumper when fitted with a dana spicer axles, a over centre handbrake lever and cable goes to rear axle. Cable is approximately 1220mm long with a fixed clevis to the handbrake lever and a 5/16 bsf threaded bar on the axle end, the outer sleeve is approx. 940mm long from the tip of the thread one end which has two adjuster nuts to the tip of 13mm metal sleeve the other end.
The handbrake cable links the handbrake lever to the parking brake to stop the vehicle from rolling away. Frayed or broken cables are dangerous and must be replaced
