Description
Cable general fits 2.25 to 3.5 tonne manual Thwaites dumper year 1995 – 2001 when fitted with Newage axles, over centre handbrake lever and cable goes to front axle. Cable is approximately 3260mm long with a fixed clevis to the handbrake lever and a 5/16 bsf threaded bar on the axle end, the outer sleeve is approximately 2990mm long from the tip of the thread one end which has an adjuster nut to the tip of 13mm metal sleeve the other end.
The handbrake cable links the handbrake lever to the parking brake to stop the vehicle from rolling away. Frayed or broken cables are dangerous and must be replaced
