As the largest supplier of Yanmar TNV engines in the UK PES keep large stock of Yanmar 3TNV70, Yanmar 3TNV76, Yanmar 3TNV80F, Yanmar 3TNV82A, Yanmar 3TNV88, Yanmar 4TNV88 and Yanmar 4TNV98 engines ready for next day delivery.

Using the Yanmar portal we are able to look at the spec of your Yanmar TNV engine and match it to the closest Yanmar TNV engine we have in stock meaning that you have the smallest amounts of parts to swap over.

When you look at the engraved serial number plate on the rocker cover it list the serial number and the build spec. This build spec, for example, takes the form of 3TNV88-XWA2. The first part notes it’s a 3 cylinder engine, TNV range, 88mm bore size. The XWA2 part is a unique code for that engine and that particular OEM, in this case Thwaites. By looking up that build code on the Yanmar portal we are able to ascertain how that Yanmar is configured

From all the different manufacturers that fit Yanmar engines they fall into two categories, open brand and closed brand. Open brand means all the information for that Yanmar TNV engine is available on the Yanmar portal, closed brand means it isn’t. I would imagine any OEM who goes down the ‘closed brand’ route is paying a premium for their Yanmar engines as theoretically they think all the replacement engine and spare parts business will come via them and not from Yanmar. John Deere and Hitachi are the main OEM’s that PES sell engines for that are closed brand.

You might ask then how PES are able to supply Yanmar TNV engines for John Deere and Hitachi machines? That’s because with over 20 years of knowledge selling Yanmar TNV engines PES have build sufficient skill to enable us to provide the correct engine which enables the customer to save significant sums of money buying an engine from PES rather than the OEM. A recent example of this was an engine supplied for a Hitachi mini digger where the customer saved over £2k and a John Deere groundscare machine where we supplied an engine at 50% of the cost from the John Deere network.

If you need a Yanmar TNV engine just call the experts………….you know it makes sense.
