PES have been selling parts for Benford, then Terex and also JCB badged Terex’s and finally Mecalac for nearly 40 years. In that time we’ve had to use our knowledge and ingenuity to overcome supply problems to enable our customers to keep their machines on-site earning money.

A prime example of this is the hand control lever on the old Benford HD100KR which turned into the Terex HD1000KR when Terex purchased Benford. This little skip loading dumper was the first true hydrostatic four-wheel drive skip loading dumper. There were other hydrostatic dumpers out there but they weren’t true four- wheel drive, all four wheels turned but much like a car diff if one wheel slipped it ‘stole’ all the oil and the machine just sat there.

When the hand control lever became unavailable PES were able to source a base unit from one company across the other side of the world, a cable from another UK based supplier and manufactured a lever plate from a local Devon profile cutting firm. We then modified the base unit, fitted our lever plate and attached a new cable and hey presto………………one replacement hand control lever.

That’s why we are streets ahead of our rivals as we specialise in dumper parts, can think outside of the box and don’t let a problem get in the way of a sale.

With over £1.2 million in dumper parts on the shelf, PES are and will always be the biggest and best supplier of Thwaites, Terex, Terex/JCB and Mecalac parts in the UK.
