Thers are so many different specs of each Yanmar engine but with our Yanmar TNV stock we are normally able to provide a replacement engine to a near enough spec that you only have to change a few external parts.
We recently had a customer in Wolverhampton who needed a Yanmar 4TNV88-DSAP replacement engine that operated a steel shear in a scrapyard. He enquired to PES and other Yanmar engine dealers and within 5 minutes of getting the enquiry I was speaking to the customer on the phone whilst on the Yanmar portal checking the build configuration of the Yanmar 4TNV88-DSAP to see how it was built, looking at our stock and providing the customer with a quote for an engine that would be a suitable. He then requested an invoice for the Yanmar 4TNV88-BDYE2D and bank details and then did an immediate transfer. The money appeared in our account and therefore within 15 minutes of enquiring the engine was waiting for the pallet company to collect for next day delivery!!
You can only offer a service like that if you can fulfil the above 2 criteria. Incidentally in the next 2 hours I had several e-mails from other Yanmar engine dealers to see if I could help as they didn’t have any stock and didn’t know what replacement Yanmar 4TNV88 to supply!!!
