In the heart of Cornwall’s “White Mountains”, Brookland Sand & Aggregates Ltd are working with Imerys Minerals at Littlejohns Pit near St Austell processing sustainable secondary sand and aggregates from “Stent”, a byproduct of China clay production. They are producers of granite aggregates and sands suitable for paths, driveways, horse arenas and for general building uses. They are also producers of ready mix concrete and concrete blocks.

The Company History

Brookland Sand & Aggregates Ltd are an independent family business run by Marshall Cleave. Marshall and his Dad Barry formed Brookland Sand & Aggregates back in 2010. Their parent company Norman Cleave Plant Hire has vast experience in processing China clay waste and producing it into high quality secondary aggregates.

Norman Cleave Plant Hire was started by Mr Norman Cleave in 1972 who then built up a fleet of earth moving equipment which helped to construct many of the motorways and roads throughout the country that we use today. In the mid-nineties the company started to diversify into aggregate processing and recycling, which with our experienced team of technicians and machine operators, continues to be the company’s main interest.

Through our long standing working relationship with Marshall Cleave we have recently been happy to help the company with the purchase of another hydraulic hammer, which will be used in the production process of secondary aggregate.  The new OKB B4000 Hammer will be running on a Liebherr 936 Excavator,

The OKB range of Machine attachments is proving to be one of our most popular selling items, probably down to its very competitive pricing whilst still retaining all the attributes you expect to see from a premium priced attachment.
