Tom Ellis of TW Ellis General Building in Dorset has recently purchased an EC27D Volvo Excavator. After being impressed by Bowditch Plant Hire’s Volvo EC140E 14t excavator, Tom looked to PES Ltd for a compact excavator of his own. He has now added an EC27D compact machine to his business, which is already being put through its paces having clocked 80 hours already.

The pictures show Tom’s EC27D and Bowditch Plant Hires EC140E side by side at a site in Rampisham, Dorset where the machines are being used to create a new horse arena.

Based in the southwest, TW Ellis specialises in landscaping, building, and fencing and will take on a range of different projects.
