How popular is the Yanmar 3TNV76 engine??

The Yanmar 3TNV76 engine is a 1.116 litre capacity engine and is an extremely popular engine with OEM’s both in mini-excavators and dumpers because of it compactness and power to weight ratio.

As the largest stockists of Yanmar TNV engines in the UK, the Yanmar 3TNV76 is one of our biggest sellers as it is fitted to so many different bits of equipment and this normally peaks in the summer months with dumpers as the ground harden’s up. Why might this be you may ask? The simple reason is the Yanmar 3TNV76 is fitted to the Thwaites MACH201 1 tonne dumper and the Altrad Belle DX1000H-T, both being narrow access and skip-loading. As the ground hardens up in the summer months the builders are out doing extensions and landscaping which is where the narrow access skip-loading dumpers comes into its maximum use. The only problem is as the ground gets harder the dumpers are driven faster and when you put 1000kg of material in a narrow access dumper and lift it to put in a skip it’s a potential recipe for disaster.
