Here at PES we have always followed the philosophy that it’s incredibly hard to sell something and offer a good service if you don’t stock it. Too many dealers want to sit in the middle and take orders and then source it to supply it, I’m not sure how you can keep customers happy by doing that but it seems to be the norm these days. As one customer recently said about dealerships  ‘they are the dealer for everything and the stockist of nothing’.

As the UK’s largest stockists of Thwaites, Terex, Terex/JCB, Mecalac and Barford dumper parts we hold £1.2 million of parts on the shelf, ready for next day delivery. The same with Yanmar engines, we have every engine from the Yanmar 3TNV70 fitted into John Deere Gators and Takeuchi excavators through to the Yanmar 4TNV98CT fitted to Hitachi excavators. We recently took delivery of a stock order of over 60 engines to replenish engine stocks and enable us to supply Yanmar engines to customers on a next day basis. This delivery consisted of Yanmar 3TNM74F which are primarily supplied to fit into Kawasaki Mules, Yanmar 3TNV70 for John Deere Gators and Yanmar 4TNV98 for Takeuchi/Volvo/Yanmar and Wacker Neuson excavators. It also included Yanmar common rail engines as the requirement for them seems to be increasing as they have now been fitted for quite a few years. These engines consisted of Yanmar 4TNV88C which are fitted to Yanmar, Hitachi, Takeuchi excavators and Manitou skid steers and the Yanmar 4TNV86CT which is fitted to Takeuchi, Hyundai and Yanmar excavators and Carraro tractors. There was even a pallet full of Yanmar L100V air-cooled engine in amongst them!!!

As you can see in the photo with them all in the workshop prior to them being put in the engine store, they take a lot of room up and with in excess of 150 Yanmar TNV and Yanmar LV series in stock you can be assured that if you have a requirement for a Yanmar engine here at PES we should be able to offer you a solution far cheaper than sourcing the engine from the OEM.
