Last week I had the opportunity to visit Hillhead 2026, and as always, it proved to be one of the standout events in the construction, quarrying, demolition, and recycling calendar. The exhibition provided a fantastic platform to catch up with industry colleagues, meet new contacts, and see the latest innovations and equipment on display.
One of the highlights of my visit was spending time on the OKB Attachments stand. It was great to see such an impressive range of attachments showcased, demonstrating the breadth of solutions available for operators and contractors across a variety of applications.
The OKB team was on hand throughout the event, discussing the features and benefits of their products and sharing insights into how their attachment range continues to evolve to meet the demands of the industry. From excavation and demolition equipment through to specialist attachments, there was plenty to attract interest from visitors looking to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance on site.
A particular standout for me was the new Tree Shear attachment. This latest addition to the range attracted a lot of attention and offers a practical and efficient solution for forestry work, vegetation management, land clearance, and site preparation projects. It was encouraging to see the interest it generated and how it complements OKB’s growing portfolio of innovative attachment solutions.
Events like Hillhead are invaluable for bringing the industry together, providing opportunities to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and explore new technologies that can help businesses operate more effectively. The quality of exhibitors and visitors once again highlighted why Hillhead remains such an important event for the sector.
