This week we delivered a new OKB B300 Hammer into Michael Vanstone Plant Hire based in Kilkhampton near Bude. The hammer was supplied with a double pin head bracket allowing the hammer to be utilised on two different machines, an 8 ton Hitachi and a Backhoe.
Our pictures show the hammer being tested upon delivery all with great feed back from Mr Vanstone himself who was operating the machine. The hammer in its silenced box appearance produces lots of power with little effort. Michael told me after he had been using the hammer for half an hour or so that he had tuned down the machines revs from 1500rpm to 1000 rpm and the hammer still performed with the optimum sweet spot for hydraulic machine response and hammer power @ 1200rpm this will obviously offer huge fuel savings over the life of the hammer.
