For those of a certain age who can remember electric start Lister Petter engines in Thwaites dumpers with just a Lucas ignition switch, things have moved on a bit since then and to comply with legislation Thwaites, as all manufacturers have, are now producing dumpers with quite complicated electrics on. Why compromise by trying to save a few pounds on a Ebay switch or a cheap Chinese copy from one of the aftermarket ‘on-line dumper specialist’ for your Thwaites dumper.
