The Spicer 401 gearbox was designed to replace the Newage 40M and Newage 85m gearboxes in site dumpers when Newage went into administration and production ceased. The Spicer 401 gearbox is designed to fit Barford 2 Tonne straight, Barford 2 Tonne swivel , Barford 3 Tonne straight and Barford 3 Tonne swivel and is a simple non-synchromesh gearbox with 3 forward and 1 reverse gear and of a similar design to its Newage predecessor. Most Spicer 401 parts are available, apart from castings, from stock for next day delivery or PES are able to offer complete service exchange Spicer 401 gearbox from stock or can quote to repair your existing Spicer 401 gearbox in your Barford 2 Tonne straight, Barford 2 Tonne swivel, Barford 3 Tonne straight and Barford 3 Tonne Swivel dumper. -

Compared to the Dynapac CC800 and Dynapac CC900, the CC1000 stands out with its larger drum width, greater operating weight, and higher compaction output. This allows it to cover more ground efficiently while still remaining compact enough for tight spaces. In contrast, the CC800 and CC900 are lighter and narrower, making them better suited for very confined areas or lighter-duty applications, whereas the CC1000 strikes a balance between agility and increased productivity.
