As the UK’s largest supplier of Yanmar TNV engines PES often get contacted by Yanmar when they are over-stocked with engines with offers on Yanmar TNV packages they are looking to get rid of. These TNV packages are discounted as they are surplus stock but are often strange and rare build specs which makes them of a very limited use, I suppose if they were common engines they would sell them themselves!!!
We have just bought 7 x Yanmar 3TNV76 engines without the PTO aperture on the timing cover which makes them ideal for fitting into Thwaites 1 tonne skip loaders. For those Thwaites users with older machines who don’t quite want to stretch to new engine these are an ideal purchase as you’re saving close to £1K on a brand new engine. You’ll have to swap some externals from the old engine to make it to the correct spec but it’s nothing complicated, just unbolt and bolt things like an exhaust manifold so it will probably take you less than 1 hour. 1 hour to save £1k…………….it’s a no-brainer.
