As with everything else these days, with the global shortage of just about anything the supply of Yanmar TNV diesel engines has also been problematic. Pre-pandemic lead times from Japan for Yanmar engine were around 3 months, post-pandemic they are stretching to over 9 months with engines that we ordered in December last year still on backorder.

As the largest distributor and stockists of Yanmar TNV engines in the UK PES have managed to keep supplying Yanmar TNV engines by ordering in bulk and anticipating ever lengthening lead times. However even we have now run out of certain models, 4TNV88 especially, and don’t anticipate being re-stocked until the latter part of the year. That’s just one model though and we still have the following engines in stock ready for next day delivery.

Of course there are hundreds of other applications that the Yanmar TNV engine is fitted to, too many to list, so if your machine isn’t on the list I’m sure we can have an engine for your application.

Coming into stock shortly are also some Yanmar 3TNV84T and Yanmar 4TNV84T engines. These are not fitted to a lot of machinery but there is never any stock of them within Europe so PES have decided to stock them.
