Description
Cable general fits Terex 2 to 3 tonne dumpers between the year 1992 – 2002 when fitted with Newage axles, over-centre handbrake lever and the cable goes to front axle. Cable is approximately 2930mm long with a fixed clevis to the handbrake lever and a M8 threaded bar down to the axle brake arms; the outer sleeve is approximately 2620mm long from the tip of the thread one end to tip thread the other end, both ends are fitted with 1 adjuster nut.
The handbrake cable links the handbrake lever to the parking brake to stop the vehicle from rolling away. Frayed or broken cables are dangerous and must be replaced
