Description
Cable general fits Terex 5, 6 and 7 tonne dumpers between 1992 – 2001 when fitted with a over-centre handbrake lever and rectangle handbrake pad calliper. Cable is approximately 1480mm long with a fixed clevis to the handbrake lever and a M8 threaded bar to the handbrake calliper; the outer sleeve is approximately 1300mm long from the tip of the thread which has two adjuster nuts to the tip of the threaded the other end with one adjuster nut.
The handbrake cable links the handbrake lever to the parking brake to stop the vehicle from rolling away. Frayed or broken cables are dangerous and must be replaced
