Description
Cable general fits Terex / Mecalac 5, 6 and 7 tonne 2001- to 2009 when fitted with a rachet handbrake lever and round handbrake pad calliper. Cable is approximately 1600mm long with a fixed clevis to the handbrake lever and a M8 threaded bar to the handbrake calliper; the outer sleeve is approximately 1300mm long from the tip of the thread which has two adjuster nuts to the tip of the threaded the other end with one adjuster nut.
The handbrake cable links the handbrake lever to the parking brake to stop the vehicle from rolling away. Frayed or broken cables are dangerous and must be replaced
