PES have just taken delivery of some Yanmar 4TNV86CT engines to fit what is probably the most popular 6 tonne excavator in the country, the Takeuchi TB260.
The Yanmar 4TNV86CT is a 2.091 litre capacity, 44kW @30000rpm, turbo-charged, direct injection, common rail diesel engine which meets EU Stage V, EPA Tier 4 emissions regulations. The engine comes complete with DPF across the bell housing, as with most excavators and a hydraulic pump PTO aperture on the timing cover.
This engine is also fitted to the Yanmar SV60 excavator and a whole range of different Toro landscaping, grounds maintenance and agricultural equipment.
As most Stage V diesel engines are coming up to 6 years old there is starting to be a requirement for re-power purposes as engines start to enter the period of the end of their working life, dependent on hours/maintenance/usage etc.
