Volvo DD15 compact roller offers the same drum frequency as its much larger brothers providing optimal impact spacing at higher rolling speeds on hot mix asphalt, soil sub-base and aggregate base thanks to its innovative design and high specification hydraulics. Designed with the operator in mind the vibration-isolated, skid resistant platform with propulsion and vibration controls ergonomically positioned provide and safe and comfortable environment for the operator to work in. Additional safety features oif the DD15 include ROPS frame, seat belt alarm, SAHR parking brake, emergency stop switch, seat shutdown switch and neutral start provide one of the safest rollers currently available on the market. In automatic mode, the pressurised water sprinkler system only operates when the roller is moving stopping water pooling on freshly laid mats and the fuel tank provides sufficient fuel for a full days operation. The Kubota D722 engine provides a reliable, well regarded power source and the roller is available in either narrow drum (1018mm) or wide drum (1085mm) format.
